This session will discuss the latest policy updates from USTRANSCOM on shipping and storing lithium batteries in personal property shipments. And will feature Department of Transportation’s (DOT’s) Transportation Safety Institute instructors who will provide practical information to movers on how to determine lithium battery watt-hours and grams; and how to meet regulatory guidelines to properly package those items for safe transport.
